Head cast

We’re directing a short film written by Richard Johnson called ‘All the Time in the World’. We shoot it in a few weeks and today we sent our star (Neil Edmond) off to Brighton to have our make-up special effects guy (Nathan) pour goo all over his pretty head to make a full head cast. How cool is that? Proper ‘Makings of Thriller‘ stuff.

Meanwhile you can see Neil in Contains Violence (until 10th May) which we’ll be checking out next tuesday, see you there.

Zombie Attack

We had a bit of an issue the other day with a horde of angry Zombies in the city, we had to fight our way through the brain thirsty losers and find our way to the helipad. Which was fun. We did all this with the aid of the board game cryptically named ‘ZOMBIES!!!‘ in our garage which we themed as a zombie strong hold for the night. This is the kind of thing everyone does on a Saturday night yeah? ok, we’re cool then.

Here’s the photographic evidence

Dinosaur Delights

Found this old bit of footage from a holiday video we shot in Cabazon, California back in 2002. Must go back soon – even the name ‘Cabazon’ sounds cool. mmmm Cabazon…

For anybody that cares: They used this place for that scene in Pee Wee’s Big Adventure when he watches the sun set from the T-Rex’s mouth. If any of you have not seen the movie then get the hell out of our damn blog and don’t come back until you can do the tequila dance in its entirety.

NoHo Where To Go

noho where to go So we’re working in Gt Titchfield Street now, slap bang in the middle of London’s sandwich bar packed Noho area. We’re slowly exploring the lunch options which (compared to Notting Hill) are more varied and plentiful than google map mash-ups. And to document our progress we’ve put together a google map mash-up (ok it’s not technically a ‘mash-up’ but the gag wouldn’t have worked otherwise). It’s left open for anybody to add content to, so please let us know of any of your secret sandwich bars, greasy cafes with real grease, coffee bars that don’t have 5 million branches or just any other local knowledge that we really need to know and can be communicated through the medium of cartography.

Fangoria ’07 – The Movie

Ok, we’ve finally gone and done it, and finished the video of last year’s Fangoria. It’s all a bit swanky and shot in hi-def (I know, I can’t think of a reason why we did that either, other than ‘why not?’), so don’t get scared if it asks you to update your flash player just update the damn thing, welcome to the future. Click this shiny link to view it.

The Boob slipped strangely effortlessly into character, and did such an amazing job he get’s his own special cut, behold: The Boober real
