The Quick Draw Saloon at the last ever V&A Village Fete went down a storm, which had a lot to do with all the work that went it to making and running the thing by the guys and gals of Stuff Club (that, and the fact we were giving out shots of whiskey for 50p [...]

Tonight it’s the V&A Village Fete grand opening, and us lot at Stuff Club (which is a gang of do-ers at Poke) have built the Quick Draw Saloon. Come along tonight or tomorrow and pit your speed drawing skills against another pen slinger. There’s a prize for the winner, and something else for the looser.

Finally got round to doing some back-ups at the weekend and found this timelapse video we shot ages ago on a jolly ’round Romford. It’s been on Vimeo for a while but I don’t think we ever blogged it. So now we have – hooray! It’s got my favourite sound effects ever in it (play [...]

Today, we at Poke bid a fond farewell to TV’s Chris Boardman. During his year break from uni here at Poke we have worked him to within an inch of his life. Which is of course how all student placements should be handled. He’s heading back up north to finish his learnings (see: slacking). We [...]

He actually completed [...]

In responce to the Ideas Brothers’ mood film I’ve made my own. It’s about that time where you sit back and wonder at the glorious ballet between the two members of the Camelid family; the Camel and the Llama, and the adventures those little tykes get up to.

Yey! My Lomo LC-A isn’r buggered. The last time I used it (about a year ago) it kept deciding not to open it’s little iris for me. So I left it in the cupboard. I kinda missed it, so I got it out again recently and ran a roll of film through it, picking up [...]

Here’s me last night, as a kind of multi-coloured sausage creature called Boy. I can stretch to almost any length, and this helps Girl (a properly giant sausage thing who starts in earths orbit but it growing out towards other planets) grow. Anyway, here’s some video made using the neato in-game YouTube do-hickey that lets [...]
Terror Castle

We finally finshed our big propper Little Big Planet level. Surprisingly, it’s themed around a ghost train that goes off the rails a bit. Really enjoyed building the thing. The tools are designed very well to give every meat sack out there the chance to build something fun. Anyway, go play “Terror Castle” (named after [...]
